Resumption of Bus Services in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: The All Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association has declared that private bus operations will recommence throughout the state starting Saturday.
This resolution was reached during a meeting in Puri, where the association confirmed that services would normalize despite the ongoing protests by the Drivers’ Mahasangh.
Lokanath Pani, the association's president, along with secretary Debendra Sahu, stated that the state government has committed to ensuring the safety of the buses while the drivers continue their demonstrations. They also mentioned that all 70 district-level bus associations have consented to this decision.
